The Decelles Labyrinth paddling route is a mapped network of about 60 km on Réservoir Decelles, a widening of the Ottawa River southwest of Val-d'Or in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Tourisme Abitibi-Témiscamingue's Accès Plein Air guide rates it moderate and splits it into sections: the Baie Carrière channel (20 km), a 21 km central loop, a short cut-off, the Chenal des Rapides (18 km) toward the Rapide-Sept dam and a detour through Baie Lys. A common plan is a three-day one-way trip from Baie Carrière to the Rapide-Sept area, which needs a car shuttle on forest roads. The reservoir is a maze of long bays, islands and peninsulas, and the guide strongly recommends carrying a GPS track. Flooded timber leaves stumps just below the surface, and wind raises rough water. Island campsites are spread through the centre, while cottages and motorboats are common along Baie Carrière.
