Algonquin Provincial Park

Misty Lake

★★★★☆ 4.0

About

Misty Lake is an interior lake on Algonquin's west side, reached from the Magnetawan Lake and Rain Lake access points. Both routes meet at Daisy Lake, follow the Petawawa River to Little Misty Lake and portage into Misty. Other portages link Misty to Timberwolf Lake, to the Petawawa River, and through Pandion Pond and Shah Lake to the Tim River. From Misty, routes continue through McIntosh Lake or White Trout Lake to Big Trout Lake, so Misty is a common stop on routes between the west side and Canoe Lake.
