This 2-day classic route on Algonquin's west side combines river paddling with serene lake camping in a protected nature reserve. Paddle the meandering Tim River with its signature beaver dams, then explore beautiful Rosebary and Longbow Lakes surrounded by mature hardwood forests. The river portion offers easy-to-moderate difficulty with scenic narrows and potential moose sightings, especially in the quiet morning hours. Fall visits showcase spectacular autumn colors and fewer bugs. Access via the Tim River Access Point (#2) near Kearney offers excellent proximity to Huntsville outfitters.
