About

The Magnetawan Lake access point is on the north-west shore of Magnetawan Lake on Algonquin's west side. From Highway 11 at Emsdale, take Highway 518 east through Kearney, then the Forestry Tower Road for 24.2 km. Routes lead through Hambone Lake to Ralph Bice Lake, or through Hambone and Daisy lakes and down the Petawawa River to Little Misty and Misty lakes. From Misty Lake, paddlers can continue to Big Trout Lake, and loops return through the Tim River and Ralph Bice Lake.
