About

The Kingscote Lake access point is in the south of Algonquin Park. From Highway 648, 1.6 km east of Harcourt, follow the Elephant Lake Road north for 12.3 km, then the Kingscote Lake Road for 7 km. Six walk-in campsites sit less than 100 m from the parking area. From Kingscote Lake, a route heads north through Big Rock Lake, Byers Lake and the York River, and Branch Lake to Scorch Lake, with a portage between each lake.
