About

The Rock Lake access point is on the Madawaska River between Whitefish and Rock lakes, 8 km south of km 40.3 of Highway 60 on the gravel Rock Lake Road, just past the Rock Lake Campground office. Rock Lake has pictographs on its shores. Routes continue south to Pen Lake and Clydegale Lake, or through Welcome, Harry and Rence lakes to Lake Louisa, which also connects directly back to Rock Lake. Downstream, Galeairy Lake leads east to the village of Whitney.
