Algonquin Provincial Park

Lake Lavieille

★★★☆☆ 3.0

About

Lake Lavieille is an interior lake north-east of Lake Opeongo. A common approach starts at the Lake Opeongo access point: up Opeongo to the North Arm, across the portage into Proulx Lake, then along the Crow River through Little Crow and Big Crow lakes and down the river into Crow Bay of Lake Lavieille. Through Hardy Bay, Lavieille connects to Dickson Lake, which links back to Opeongo's East Arm by the Dickson-Bonfield portage, more than 5 km long. Downstream, the lower Crow River flows from Lake Lavieille to the Petawawa River.
