The Wendigo Lake access point is on the west shore of Wendigo Lake on the north side of the park. From Highway 17 just west of Deux Rivières, take the gravel Brent Road south for 16 km, then the Wendigo Lake access road for 1.9 km. A well-documented trip runs south through Allan and North Depot lakes, joins the North River and continues through Clamshell and Shoal lakes to Radiant Lake on the Petawawa River. Radiant is a large, shallow lake with sandy beaches, and the trip there and back is often done in three days.
