Brousse, also known as the Bush or Outback circuit, is a 58 km canoe-camping loop in Zec Kipawa, north of Béarn in Témiscamingue. Zec Kipawa rates it intermediate and plans four to five days. It leaves Lac Ostaboningue at Baie Cooks and heads east through a string of small, remote lakes (Cooks, Robert, Slide, Six Milles and the Six Îles lakes) to Lac Saseginaga, then turns north through Lac Écarté, Lac North and Lac B.-L. and comes back west by Lac des Cinq Milles and the Saseginaga River. Portaging is the main work: the zec lists 13 carries from 61 to 731 m, the longest between Lac Ostaboningue and Lac Cooks. A 2009 route description warns of a rock slide at the Écarté to North portage where canoes must be lined down. The zec points to a heronry near Lac Six Milles and the falls at Lac North. Registration and camping fees are paid to the zec.
