The Missisquoi Nord flows 46km from Eastman to Highwater through pristine wilderness, featuring easy to moderate rapids (R-I to R-III) and crystal-clear, meandering waters. This lesser-known gem offers incredible biodiversity with beaver lodges, painted turtles, and eagles, while sandy beaches provide perfect swimming and picnic spots. Multiple launch sites and shuttle services make access convenient, though water levels can be low in mid-summer. Best paddled from May through September for optimal conditions.
