About

The Tomifobia flows along the 19km Nature Trail from Ayer's Cliff to the Vermont border, featuring gentle rapids (R1-R3) with occasional cascades and no required portages. This international waterway offers excellent wildlife viewing including endangered wood turtles and bald eagles, flowing through diverse wetlands and forests. The adjacent rail-trail provides backup hiking options, while the clear waters support excellent fishing for trout and salmon. No established camping makes this ideal for day trips.
