The Pérugia-Puyjalon-Romaine route is a multi-river wilderness expedition through the heart of Quebec's Côte-Nord region. This extremely challenging route involves connecting multiple river systems including the Puyjalon River, which is a major tributary of the Romaine system. The journey requires multiple portages between watersheds, expert navigation skills, and complete wilderness self-sufficiency. The route passes through pristine boreal forest and offers spectacular but harsh northern landscapes.
