The Nestaocano River provides an intermediate wilderness paddling experience through Quebec's remote northern forests. This tributary system features class II-III rapids, beautiful cascading waterfalls, and excellent camping opportunities along sandy beaches and forest clearings. The river requires good whitewater skills and offers stunning scenery including a remarkable 75-100 foot waterfall accessible via a short tributary. Club Nestaocano provides a midway landmark for paddlers seeking additional support or emergency access.
