About

The Natla-Keele represents one of Canada's most spectacular yet underexplored mountain river systems, offering a two-part adventure through the Mackenzie Mountains. The Natla River drops over 600 metres in 200 km of challenging class II-III rapids and rock gardens similar to the famous Nahanni, demanding solid whitewater skills and experience. After joining the Keele River, paddlers enjoy 300 km of stunning mountain scenery with abundant wildlife: caribou, grizzly bears, Dall sheep, and wolves. The turquoise glacial waters and accessible alpine slopes provide world-class paddling from July to September.
