The Manawan circuit Morialice represents a traditional Atikamekw paddling route through pristine northern Lanaudière wilderness. This multi-day circuit connects several remote lakes including Lac Morialice, offering an immersive cultural and wilderness experience with certified Indigenous guides. The route features calm lake paddling with some connecting waterways, surrounded by untouched boreal forest and rich wildlife. Access requires traveling to the Atikamekw community of Manawan, approximately 85km north of Saint-Michel-des-Saints. Best undertaken from late spring through early fall when weather is favorable and water levels are reliable.
