The Kopka River Route is a legendary northern Ontario wilderness paddle famous for the dramatic Seven Sisters Waterfalls, a breathtaking series of seven major falls with a 215-foot elevation drop over just two kilometers. The route features significant whitewater with Class II-III rapids and challenging portages through rugged granite canyons, suited for advanced paddlers seeking dramatic scenery and adventure. Water levels and summer conditions make July-August ideal for paddling; winter conditions and spring flooding make access difficult.
