The Pikauba flows through Quebec's Laurentides Wildlife Reserve with pristine boreal forest scenery. Access is well-established with proper put-in points, and the route connects to the larger Saguenay river system. Summer and early fall provide the most reliable water levels and comfortable paddling conditions.
