The Brazeau River offers a unique three-section wilderness experience flowing from the Rockies through canyon sections with Class III features, then braided channels in boreal forest settings before entering Brazeau Reservoir with high cliff walls. This intermediate to advanced trip provides excellent opportunities for moose and deer viewing in pristine wilderness settings.
