About

Kiosk (Kioshkokwi Lake) is Algonquin's northernmost and quietest access point, accessible via a scenic 30km paved Highway 630 in the remote northwest corner far from Highway 60 crowds. The lake itself offers clear, clean water ideal for swimming, paddling and fishing, with pristine campsites and excellent dark skies for stargazing. Paddling is generally easy with opportunities for longer interior explorations into portage-heavy remote lakes. Best visited in summer and early fall when the campground is open and weather is stable. The very remote location ensures exceptional solitude and a true wilderness escape.
