The 4 portages allow paddlers to bypass the most challenging drops while still experiencing quality whitewater through scenic forested terrain. This section serves as an excellent progression route for paddlers advancing from beginner to advanced levels. The two established campsites enable multi-day trips to fully explore the river corridor. Spring and early summer provide reliable water levels for optimal paddling conditions.
