CanoeMap.ca is built to respect your privacy. We don't follow you across the web.

What we don't do

We place no tracking cookies. We collect no personally identifiable information (name, email, persistent IP, device identifier). We don't sell any data.

What we measure

To understand site usage and justify the sponsorships that fund this work, we use two privacy-respecting analytics tools:

• Cloudflare Web Analytics — aggregated, cookieless. Details.
• Plausible Analytics — hosted in the EU, cookieless, GDPR/PIPEDA compliant. Details.

Both tools record only anonymous stats: pages visited, country (no city), device class (no identifier), referrer (no history). None of it identifies you individually.

Maps and tiles

Interactive maps use Mapbox. When you load a map, your browser talks directly to Mapbox to fetch tiles. Mapbox privacy policy.

Outbound links

This site may contain links to sponsor sites, tagged with UTM parameters for attribution. No personal information is passed — only a generic label identifying "source: canoemap.ca".

Your rights

We don't hold any personal data about you, so there's nothing to export, correct, or delete. For any question, write to [email protected].
